Computeraid is the Managed Service Provider chosen by Wincor Nixdorf to provide distribution, maintenance and software support for its point of sale solution to the independent retail sector.

The product is available with either "touch-screen" or "keyboard" options for operator use. With either product a total solution is provided by Computeraid to include: Magnetic Card Reader, Cash Drawer, Bar-code Scanner, Point of Sale Software, Credit and Debit Card electronic - transaction software, and Sage Line 50 interface, developed by Epsilon. On-site maintenance 9am – 5.30pm, 6 days 8hour fix, Software support 6 days 9am – 5.30pm.

The Point of Sale software developed by Epsilon, is ideal for the small retailer offering input of stock items by either keystroke, scanning or search look-up. With Discount, Promotions and Account sales coupled with 3 security levels and the ability to process floats, petty cash, voids, returns and vouchers the "Reckoning" is suitable for a variety of market sectors within Retail.

The benefits in speed and accuracy that "bar-code scanning" can bring to any retail business is further enhanced by utilising the credit and debit card authorisation and fund transfer facility directly from the point of sale.

With the understanding that stock control and Vat Returns are a necessary part of the Retail Business, the Epsilon software on the Reckoning includes a link into Sage Line 50 financial and stock control software. Sage is the UK’s market leader in accountancy software with some 250,000 installations and have given the Reckoning their seal of approval for interfacing into their accounts package.
