Developed
in conjunction with an accountant, Sage WinForecast Professional has a wealth of
features to help you produce forecasts in the format you need. Here is a
selection:
INTEGRATED
REPORT SET: raw data for each
business activity is entered on simple screens and is used to generate all of
the reports.
ACTUALS
AND VARIANCE REPORT: you can
quickly import or enter actual data from your accounting software to produce
Varience Reports, and to re-forecast based on the actual data.
PROFESSIONAL
FEATURES: includes a
comprehensive Stock model, Provisions for Bad Debts and Obsolete Stock,
Factoring and Stock Financing.
MULTI-YEAR
FORECASTS: covers as many years
as you require, with built in automatic VAT, PAYE/NI and bank interest
calculation.
IMPORTING
DATA*: you can 'hot link' records
directly to an area of a spreadsheet, database and also Sage Line 50 and Line
100 when you change data in your link your forecast is automatically
updated.
MULTIPLE
CURRENCIES: enter sdales and
costs in their own currency. Consolidate foreign subsidiaries.
CONSOLIDATION
OPTION: enables forecasts from a
number of companies or profit centres (in different currencies if required) to
be combined, with a wide range of inter company eliminations available.
DATALINK:
for Line 50 users, there's
now a Datalink option which will
automatically transfer actual accounting data (Balance Sheet as well as P &
L) from your accounting package into Sage WinForecast Professional, enabling you
to produce Variance Reports, and to re-forecast based on actual results to date.
In addition, pre-existing forecasts can be 'back linked' to accounts before the
data is automatically transferred.
REPORT
GENERATOR: the Sage WinForecast
Professional Report Generator for Word 97 and Word 2000 provides you with the
capability of very simply preparing professionally presented documents
incorporating data, graphs and forecasts obtained from Sage WinForecast
Professional. A major benefit of using the Report Generator is that if you
subsequently change a forecast, you just have to print the document again, and
all the data, graphs and reports in it are automatically updated.
WHAT
IF? ANALYSIS: allows you to
rapidly see the effect of a 10% increase in sales or a 5% drop in overhead
costs, for example.
CUSTOMISABLE:
reports print data for months,
quarters, years or a mixture. Add your own formulas such as gross profit
percentage. Rename headings to fit your business.
GRAPHS:
create a wide variety of graphs
and pie charts with up to 14 records per graph, in 2-D or 3-D, in full colour or
black and white.
ACTIVE
DRILL DOWN (TM): just double click on any figure in any report to
analyse it in more detail. Keep double clicking to update your data on its data
entry screen.
